Specialized Certifications

The Fayetteville-Cumberland Regional Entrepreneurial Business HUB (FSU HUB) offers underrepresented business owners the ability to obtain the formal status of their diversity through various certifications. Certification allows businesses to bid on contracts as a diverse vendor in both the private and the public sectors.

Financial & Bonding Assistance

FSU HUB provides a no cost financial assistance service and referrals to surety companies when bonding capacity is needed on public or private jobs.

Fayetteville-Cumberland Regional Entrepreneur & Business HUB provides impactful support to small, disadvantaged business enterprises, minority, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses that wish to create and grow profitable and sustainable business ventures. Fayetteville State University’s EDA University Center will facilitate the creation of jobs and the start of new businesses and assist in developing a robust and vibrant regional economic ecosystem. A significant focus of Fayetteville State University’s EDA University Center is to drive improved capacity of under-represented contractors throughout economically challenged eastern North Carolina to secure and implement major construction contracts in the six-county region.

Small Business Technology Development Center

The SBTDC provides management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses. Most of our services are free of charge, and all are confidential. By providing entrepreneurs with the tools, they need to build and grow successful businesses, the SBTDC positively impacts NC’s economy.
